Founding Story
VIVA Life Sciences, Inc. is located in Mesa, CA. VIVA Life Sciences, Inc. was started by David Fan, the current president and CEO of the company. He encountered network marketing in 1972 as an investment banker working on making a network marketing company public.
In the 1980s, he realized that there was not much of a science base (www.mlmlegal.com) in the nutritional field after he bought some multi-vitamins for his father and found the pills in the toilet. He asked his doctor about their worth and the doctor told him that multivitamins are not readily absorbable. No one could tell David that multivitamins were safe to take for years and if they really worked. He then became dedicated to bring more science into the field of nutritional supplements.
In 1984, David joined a network marketing company in order to learn the business. After six months, he bought the company’s supplier, Westar Nutrition. Then in 1989, he bought one of Westar’s customers, VIVA America Marketing. Eventually, the name changed to VIVA Life Sciences. His company now is committed to the science of nutrition.
