Founding Story
The AIM Companies ( www.mlmlegal.com ) was founded in 1982 in Nampa, Idaho by Dennis Itami. He was joined the same year by Ron Wright. In 1982, the company opened distribution to Portland, Oregon, Los Angeles, California, and Denver, Colorado.
In 1984, The AIM Companies began offering trip-winning contests to its members, with the grand prize being a trip to Honolulu, Hawaii. In 1986, the company expanded to Las Vegas, Nevada. In 1987, the company expanded to Canada and Puerto Rico. In 1989, the company began recruiting Chinese members. In 1991, the company expanded to Taiwan and Hong Kong and, in 1992, held its first international convention in Taipei, Taiwan. In 1995, The AIM Companies expanded to New Zealand and Singapore. In 2005, the company expanded to the United Kingdom.
